MEMO

A gripping chamber drama about memory, trauma, and human connection. Psychiatrist Dr. Lónyai is on a personal mission to heal his father, a war veteran suffering from amnesia. His hope lies in Seress, a man gifted—or cursed—with hypermnesia, the inability to forget anything. Initially viewed as a mere test subject, Seress slowly reveals himself as a deeply wounded soul. As their relationship evolves, Lónyai is forced to confront his own preconceptions and emotional barriers. MEMO explores extraordinary memory, the fragility of the human mind, and the unexpected bonds that form across psychological extremes. With humor and poignancy, it contrasts the forgetful and the unforgettable, reminding us that sometimes, forgetting is essential for happiness.

Open

Relationship dramedy about a couple in their 30s adventuring through the confusing thrills of non-monogamy. Hoping to escape the seemingly inevitable cheatings and betrayals Fanni and Balint come up with a desperate plan to save their loving but sexually deflated relationship by simply opening it. Hand in hand they take a big splash into the brave new world of 21st century dating, realizing too late that the waves can be quite murky and overwhelming. What first seems like awkward fun later becomes a dangerous and painful game of trust and emotions. The film explores the challenges of modern day mating from a strong female point of view, dealing with gender roles and our (false) expectations on sex and relationships with quirky humour and honesty.

Coyote

Sweltering heat, small-town desolation, unspoken social tensions, and power struggles—this is the town of Tűzkő, somewhere in Hungary, sometime in the present. Here arrives Misi, a disillusioned, frustrated young man who has inherited his grandfather’s house and land. He is aimless, constantly fleeing from responsibilities, and lost in both his career and personal life. When Misi starts renovating the house with the help of a few locals, his actions disrupt the interests of the local oligarchs. A brutal fight ensues—for land, for love, for survival. Bit by bit, Misi transforms into a true coyote—a lone, cunning predator of the prairie. This is a true "eastern" film, with a distinctive visual language. The director, who also served as cinematographer, used anamorphic lenses that create a widescreen image closer to human vision, offering sharper resolution and a unique cinematic style.
