The age of outlaws begins.

The story

Chilli Pepper and Gunpowder

darkly comic

Chilli Pepper and Gunpowder is a darkly comic, character-driven period genre film set in a remote, storm-locked landscape. Teréz, a strong-willed young noblewoman, is being forced into a marriage she refuses. When her controlling brother attempts to break her will, their journey is violently interrupted, leaving them stranded in a decaying roadside inn.
As the storm cuts them off from the outside world, wounded soldiers, desperate outlaws, and a notorious bandit arrive one by one—each carrying secrets, injuries, and their own claim to a chest of stolen gold. With tensions rising and alliances constantly shifting, the inn becomes a claustrophobic battleground where power, survival, and desire collide.
Caught between violent men, moral ambiguity, and the promise of freedom, Teréz must navigate a dangerous game where every decision has consequences. As the night unfolds, the lines between predator and victim blur, and the question becomes not just who will claim the gold—but who will make it out alive.
Blending western influences with grotesque humor and a strong female lead, Paprika & Gunpowder is a tense, contained story about autonomy, control, and survival in a world where freedom always comes at a price.

Setting: The project is set in a storm-isolated roadside inn in a remote 19th-century Eastern European landscape.
